Job description

Within this role, you will be working for our client in the aviation industry. Your responsibilities include:

PR and Communication

  • Website maintenance and extension
  • Publications
    • Monthly electronic newsletter
    • Bi-annual Magazin
    • Annual Report
  • Social Media
    • LinkedIn
    • Twitter
    • Others to develop
  • Event Management
    • Annual symposium
    • Webinars
    • Other events as necessary
  • Internal and external Communication strategy
  • Promotion and representation strategy
  • Promotion material
    • Hardcopies
    • Web- and online
    • Presentations
    • Multimedia material
    • Maintain and improve the branding and marketing cosmetics of our customer who is based in the aviation sector
  • Membership engagement and development
  • Training management and further development
    • Manage and promote current training portfolio
    • Further develop training programme
    • Outsourcing, sub-contracting of training development and trainers
    • Trainee and trainer support
  • Content drafting
  • Content editing
  • Project Management for all above
    • Link to outsourced services
  • Develop relations with press and other media

Service support and IT interface

  • Ticketmaster of our ticketing system
  • System administrator
  • First level ticket/member support
  • Analysis and proposal for improvement projects
  • Improve user experience by creating helpful guidelines for colleagues and members
  • Project management for all IT and automation projects
  • Interface to our IT subcontractor(s)
  • Translating technical descriptions into understandable explications
  • Improve user experience by creating guidelines
  • In-house IT and equipment support
    • Staff equipment (laptops…)
    • Meeting rooms (audio video equipment
    • Technical support for external events


Eligibility criteria

  • A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies. Or a professional training on an equivalent level in a relevant domain plus adequate professional experience
  • Meet the specific competencies and skills required for the position
  • Fulfilled obligations imposed by the applicable laws on military service
  • French legal employment conditions will apply
  • Prior to recruitment, the successful candidate will be asked to provide a police certificate confirming the absence of any criminal record

Specific competences and skills

  • Excellent written, communication and negotiation skills in English (main language at our customer). A good level of French and/or another EU language is an asset
  • Understanding of the Aviation sector and terminology to fulfil the PR and Communication part above.
  • Proven track record of working with multi-disciplinary, international teams and achieving the project goals whilst maintaining harmonious working relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Background in marketing/communication, excellent communication skills, IT project management
  • Experience in contract management would be an asset
  • Good understanding to support the team in the use of standard computer software, conference automation systems, website design, publication and social media tools
  • Expected to travel and to work in an international and multicultural environment
  • Working from home and at the office in Boom
  • Be willing to work in Paris and other places in Europe
